QDR Bayside 5K
The QDR Bayside 5K is scheduled for July 19, 2026 in Bayside, Queens. The event uses a two loop course that travels north on Bell Blvd (traffic is closed) with a right turn onto 35th Avenue, a turnaround near Crocheron Park, and a return to Bell Blvd for a second lap. The common start and finish are located on Bell Blvd.
Registration is listed with a base 5K fee of $35 and a total including processing of $38.98, with lower rates for QDR members and QDR+ members. Registration fees are non refundable. Current students of Bayside High School and Cardozo High School are eligible for free entry through a race code provided by the organizer.
Participant services include live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and a personalized bib if registered at least three weeks in advance. All runners are eligible for a free 30 minute Normatec session at StretchLab Bayside by showing their bib. Early bib pickup is available Saturday, July 18 from 10 AM to 11 AM at Stretch Bayside (38-46 Bell Blvd). Day of bib pickup is available at One Station Plaza with proxy pickup allowed.
Awards are given to the top three overall and top three in male, female, and non binary categories across multiple age groups. The event is part of a broader Queens Crew Cup season long competition for local run crews. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
