QDR Bayside 5K : July 26, 2026
The QDR Bayside 5K is a community road event in Bayside, Queens, held on July 26, 2026. The course is a two-loop 5K that heads north on Bell Boulevard, turns onto 35th Avenue, reaches a turnaround near Crocheron Park, and returns to a common start and finish on Bell Boulevard. Bell Boulevard will be closed to traffic for the race.
Registration options include a 5K run/walk and a donation-only option. Base registration prices listed are 5K $35, QDR member $30, and QDR+ $25. Students currently attending Bayside High School and Cardozo High School are eligible for free entry. Registered participants may receive a personalized bib if they register at least three weeks in advance.
Bib pickup is offered in advance at Stretch Bayside (38-46 Bell Blvd) and on race day at One Station Plaza. Amenities include live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and a complimentary 30-minute Normatec recovery session at StretchLab Bayside for runners who show their bib. There are awards for top three male, female, and non-binary overall finishers and top three in age groups for standard age brackets from 19 and under through 70 plus.
