USNAAA QAC Run to Honor 5k
The event takes place on May 25, 2026, at the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Virginia. It offers running and walking options on the museum grounds and nearby areas.

The event is held in memory of a USNA alumnus from the Class of 1996 who joined Navy SEALs in 1997, later joined the CIA in 2004, and was killed in action in 2016 near Jalalabad, Afghanistan during an engagement with ISIS militants. Walkers are encouraged to attend. Organizers state the event purpose is to provide a race venue while taking time to honor this alumnus and other fallen shipmates.
The museum opens at 9 AM on the day of the event. Tours are free of charge and are available to attendees for reflection on the history of the United States and the Marine Corps on this Remembrance Day.
