QA 5k - Race information (2026)
The QA 5k is an evening series of time-graded 5 km races hosted by PH Racing Club on Friday 7 August 2026 at Queen Anne High School, Broomhead Parks, Dunfermline KY12 0PQ. The event is measured (Course 21/196) and runs under UK Athletics Rules as a scottishathletics Licensed Event (Licence ES015144).
Racing takes place around the perimeter of the school campus on a lapped route of just over seven clockwise laps with no sharp bends. The course is flat; in recent years a high proportion of entrants recorded personal bests, with over 85% of runners securing a PB or SB across the last four editions.
The format uses multiple, time-graded races around the same route. Prize awards are based on time across races if faster results occur in earlier races. Minimum cash prizes are specified as £250 for first place (male and female), £150 for second (male and female) and £100 for third (male and female). A separate course-record prize pot of £500 is available for course records - current records are 13:57 (male) and 15:54 (female); if both records fall the pot is split, otherwise a single record breaker takes the full pot.
