Q50 Races Chupacabra takes place on November 7, 2025 at Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton, Louisiana. The event offers the following distances:
- 10 miles
- 5 miles
The course uses dirt trails with some small hills. The 5-mile course is one loop of 5 miles; the 10-mile race is two loops. There is no aid station on the 5-mile loop. The 10-mile distance has one water/food station at the finish area.
Course rules, equipment and services
Runners must carry their own hydration container; the event will not provide paper cups. Participants are required to have a headlamp or flashlight, extra batteries, and a whistle; prescription glasses or contacts are recommended if needed. Food for participants is provided by the New Orleans Mission. Handmade medals and awards are mentioned for finishers.
Event rules include no dogs, pacers, baby strollers, bicycles, or earphones on the course. Runners who cut the course, get lost, or run the wrong course are not eligible for place awards. Runners must carry out their trash and follow park rules. A park entrance fee of $3 per person will be collected at the race site.
