Put-In-Bay 5k
The Put-In-Bay 5k is a running event held on September 19, 2026 in Put In Bay, Ohio. The course begins just outside the Boathouse Bar and Grill at 218 Hartford Avenue and runs through parts of the island.

Registration opens March 1, 2026. Pre-registration fee is $30 through September 9, 2026. Registrations on or after September 11, 2026 are $35. All mailed entries must be received by September 9, 2026. Packet pickup is located in DeRivera Park across from the Boathouse Bar and Grill with sessions on Friday, September 18 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, September 19 from 8:00 am to 9:15 am.
Timing is listed separately for each distance: the 1 Mile is a non timed event and the 5K is chip timed. Entries are non refundable and non transferable to future races, but participants may transfer their entry to another person for free before packet pickup through the event registration system by selecting the gift transfer option and entering the new runner's details.
Ferry options to Put In Bay include Miller Ferry and Jet Express. Miller Ferry offers a round trip ticket discount for ages 12 and up at the ticket booth when runners identify the event. Dogs and strollers are permitted if placed at the back of the field and kept on a short leash. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
