Course

The course begins in the heart of Put-In-Bay and goes through the island. Course maps are provided for both distances.

Registration

Pre-registration fees are $30 per event if registered by September 9, 2026. After September 11, the fee increases to $35. Packet pickup is in DeRivera Park across from the Boathouse Bar and Grill on Friday, September 18 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19 from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM. Mailed entries must be received by September 9, 2026, with checks payable to HERMES.

Travel

Ferry services to Put-In-Bay are available. Miller Ferry offers a $3 discount on round-trip tickets for participants aged 12 and up when mentioning the race.

Rules and Awards

Dogs and strollers are permitted but must start at the back, with dogs on a short leash. Awards are given to top overall male and female finishers, and to the top two finishers in various age groups.
