Pumpkinfest 5K Run/Walk
The Pumpkinfest 5K Run/Walk is a community road event held in Anamosa on October 3, 2026, with start and finish near the Anamosa Library & Learning Center at 600 E 1st Street. The event features a 5K course and is open to runners and walkers of all ages.
Registration opens August 14, 2026 and closes September 24, 2026. The published registration fee is $25.00. Race shirts are available for participants who register by Friday, September 11. All participant and spectator parking will be on-street; the library parking lot will be used for race operations and is not available for participant parking.
Awards are planned for the Overall Male Champion and Overall Female Champion, plus age-group awards in divisions for 8 and under, 9–12, 13–15, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60 and older.
The 5K is scheduled as part of the day’s Pumpkinfest activities in downtown Anamosa, which include the Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off, vendors, a Kids Zone, and a parade.
