Event overview
The Emerald Run 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Anamosa, Iowa. The event takes place within Wapsipinicon State Park, with the course starting and finishing near the entrance to the Lower Road. Runners, walkers and strollers are welcome. The event has a St. Patrick's Day theme.

Registration price listed at $20. The price increases after January 7, 2026 at 11:59pm CST. Participants who register by Friday, February 20 will receive a long sleeve tee.
Packet pickup and same-day registration
Packet pickup is available at the Anamosa Chamber of Commerce Office, 203 E Main St, on Friday, March 13 from 8:00am-10:00am and 5:00pm-7:00pm. Packet pickup and same-day registration are available at Wapsipinicon State Park, 21309 Co Rd E34, on Saturday, March 14 from 9:00am-9:45am.
Awards
Trophies will be awarded to the overall male and female winners. Medals will be given to the top two finishers in each age group. An award will also be given for Most Festive Costume. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
