Pumpkin Patch Dash 5K : Winter Garden, FL
The Pumpkin Patch Dash is the 17th annual community 5K hosted in the Oakland Park neighborhood of Winter Garden, Florida. The event includes a main evening 5K run/walk on neighborhood streets with luminaries and course turn arrows; participants are advised to bring glow sticks or flashlights if they expect to be on course after dark. The course includes a midway water stop.
Race proceeds support the West Orange Junior Service League Scholarship Fund for local high school seniors. Main 5K registration includes a timed result, a dry-fit t-shirt, a goodie bag, a finisher's medal, and post-race snacks. Prizes are planned for top finishers and a special cash prize is offered for the top under-18 finisher in the main race.
The event features family-friendly activities on site such as food trucks, activity tables, games, treats, and a live DJ. There is no parking at the race site; shuttle buses will transport attendees from the designated parking area to the race site. Packet pick-up details are to be announced.
Children's races are offered before the main 5K. Kids must register online and sign a waiver before the event; shirts for children are available for an additional fee.
