Pump It Up 5k
Pump It Up 5k is a fundraising event at Ridley Creek State Park, held at Pavilions 11A and 11B in Media, Pennsylvania. The event supports Lifetime Wells International, a nonprofit that provides safe drinking water systems in Ghana and Tanzania.
The event includes multiple 5K options:
- 5K Run (running only)
- 5K Walk (walking only), walkers start behind the runners
- Virtual 5K Run/Walk (virtual, open to participants anywhere)
Registration opens February 17. In-person registration for the run and walk has a reduced fee before April 22 with a guaranteed T-shirt; higher fees after April 22 do not guarantee a T-shirt. The virtual 5K has its own registration period that closes on May 9. Fee levels are listed for adults and children with early and late pricing and T-shirt conditions.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three finishers in each age group. Race timing is provided by Bryn Mawr Racing Company and official results are posted by that timing company.
