Pump It Up 5 Miler!
The Pump It Up 5 Miler takes place on May 9, 2026 in Jericho, Vermont, with the event based at Jericho Elementary School. The main distance is a certified (VT13009JK) five mile out and back on Old Pump Road.
The course is a gently rolling dirt road that initially crosses Browns River and then arcs along fields and the tree line. The route is described as an out and back layout along Old Pump Road.
Entry fee for the event is $15, with a $5 discount for GMAA members. Online pre registration is encouraged and closes at noon on the Friday before the race. Day of registration is available for a higher fee. There are no refunds, deferrals, or transfers. All pre registered runners are entered into a raffle and raffle prizes are distributed at packet pickup.
The race is open to runners 12 and older; runners under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the race. GMAA and insurance rules prohibit running with a baby jogger or a dog. For safety and courtesy, the use of headphones is strongly discouraged.
An aid station on course provides water at miles 1.75 and 3.25. Water and post race refreshments are available at the finish. Two porta potties will be available on the grass in the school parking area. Parking is in the Jericho Elementary School lot; participants are asked not to park at Palmer Lane Maple.
Awards are given to overall top finishers in the mens, womens, non binary, and under 18 categories. Finisher prizes are handed out at the finish line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
