Event details

The Health First Florida Marathon Weekend takes place in Melbourne, Florida, on Sunday, February 8, 2026. The event program includes:

  • Marathon
  • Half Marathon
  • Sunshine State Lager 10K
  • 5K
  • Intellectually impaired categories for the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon A virtual run category is also available. Online registration closes Thursday, February 5; walk-up registration is accepted at packet pickup on Saturday, February 7 only. T-shirts are sold separately. Finishers of the 5K, 10K, half marathon and full marathon receive medals; race hats are provided to runners. Post-race concerts and finisher photos are part of the weekend. Carib Brewery provides brews to runners on Sunday.

Course and logistics

The start and finish areas are near Riverside Front Street Park at 2205 Front Street, Melbourne. The course runs along US-1 and the Indian River, reaches the beach side barrier island twice, and includes bridge crossings - four for the full marathon and two for the half. The marathon has a 7 hour limit; the half marathon has a 5 hour limit. The event is walker- and headphones-friendly. Pacers are provided for the marathon and half marathon. Aid and medical details: Gatorade, water, and gels are on course (gels at Water Stop 3 - Ballard Park, and Water Stop 8 - Riverside Dr/River Oaks St); medical stations are at Eau Gallie Causeway (6.55 miles), the east side of 192, and the finish. No race-day parking is allowed at Front Street Park or the boat ramp. The Health & Fitness Expo and packet pickup are at Front Street Civic Center on Saturday, February 7.
