The Rotary Club of Point Pleasant Boro organizes the Annual Father's Day 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run. Proceeds benefit various Rotary charities, including local community organizations and veteran projects.
Event Details
The event takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026. It features two race distances:
- Pt. Pleasant Boro. Rotary Father’s Day 5K
- Pt. Pleasant Boro. Rotary Father’s Day 1-MILE Fun Run
The event is held at Community Park, located at the corner of Bridge Avenue and Beaver Dam Road in Point Pleasant Boro, New Jersey. Bib and t-shirt pickup is available the day before the race at the Moose Lodge on River Avenue, with a limited supply of 280 shirts.
Course and Awards
The 5K course is certified and is described as flat and fast, having remained unchanged since the first event in 2008. Timing is provided by South Jersey Race Timing, LLC for expedited electronic results.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as to the top three male and female finishers in each age group. The first-place male and female runners receive a $100 gift card from Miles Ahead Sports, while first- and second-place runners receive a $50 gift card from B2 Bistro.
Additional Information
Post-race refreshments will be available. The event will be held rain or shine. Registration for the 5K costs $30, and registration for the 1-mile fun run costs $20. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
