Psycho Psummer Run Toto Run
This trail running event is held at Wyandotte County Lake Park in Kansas City, KS and uses a 10.4 mile loop on a mixture of bridle and single track trails through hardwood forest. The loop is largely on dirt, about 85 percent shaded, and contains notable hills and elevation change; there are occasional views of Wyandotte County Lake.
Distances offered:
- 50K run, three 10.4 mile loops
- 20 mile run, two 10.4 mile loops
- 10 mile run, one 10.4 mile loop
The event is limited to 100 entrants total and enforces a 9 hour time limit. Multiple aid stations are located around the course; some are staffed and provide water, Gatorade, soda, snacks such as chips and fruit, ice, and minor first aid, while others are unstaffed and supply water only. Aid stations are spaced at intervals of less than 3 miles per loop.
All entrants must carry a water bottle or hydration device. Drop bags are allowed for the 20 mile and 50K races and are available at the main start/finish aid station each loop. Pacers are permitted for the 50K only for the final 10 miles and are limited to one pacer per runner; canine pacers are not allowed.
