Project Joy and Hope Fun Run
The Project Joy and Hope Fun Run is the 4th annual 5K event held to support Project Joy and Hope, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves seriously ill children and their families. The event takes place at the San Jacinto Monument in La Porte, Texas, and includes both an in-person and a virtual 5K option.

Participants receive a commemorative t-shirt, snacks, drinks, and a finisher medal. Virtual participants may pick up their registration shirt and finisher medal at packet pickup but are not eligible for awards. T-shirt orders close on March 24, 2026; shirts are not guaranteed for registrants after that date.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7 and Wednesday, April 8 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Project Joy and Hope (3207 Tulip Street, Pasadena, TX 77504). Additional packet pickup is available race morning at the registration table; no on-site race-day registration is offered.
Awards are planned by age and category, including children 8 and under, children 9-12, and overall male and female winners for Teens 13-19, Young Adults 20-40, Adults 41-60, and Seniors 61 and over. Race photos will be uploaded and provided free to participants. There are no refunds or exchanges. Sponsorship and fundraising opportunities are available, and top fundraisers will receive recognition at a subsequent fundraising event.
