Cardiff Half Marathon
The Cardiff Half Marathon is a road race held in Cardiff. It is the UK’s second largest half marathon and is described as Wales’ largest multi-charity fundraising event.
The race is a member of the SuperHalfs global series, which includes races in Lisbon, Prague, Berlin, Copenhagen and Valencia. It has been awarded an Elite Race Label by World Athletics.
The course is described as flat and fast and passes several city landmarks, including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, the Civic Centre and Cardiff Bay. Thousands of spectators attend to watch and cheer along the route.
