Preston Fast 5 Road Race

A flat, traffic free 5K held on a three‑lap course using a one‑mile lap cycle track at the University of Lancashire Sports Arena in Preston. The course is accurately measured and designed with no tight corners.

Organised by Preston Harriers as one of four Wednesday evening races held during spring and early summer. Each evening features two races: a race for runners with target times under 18:00 and a race for runners with target times over 18:00. Each race has an entry limit of 60 and the minimum age is 16 on the day of the event.

Entries open on 1 March 2026 and close on 20 April 2026. Entry fees are UKA members £7.00 and non members £9.00. There are toilet facilities at the Sports Arena. No prizes are offered and entry transfers or deferrals are not permitted. No entries are accepted on the day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
