About the race
Epic Events' Petzl Night Runner Rivington returns to Rivington and Blackrod High School, Rivington Lane, Bolton (BL6 7RU), for the final Night Runner event of the series. The night race offers a 10k trail and a Half Marathon, both on a fully marked course with reflective signs, run with a head torch. Expect rough, muddy, and rocky off-road terrain, so wear trail or fell shoes and warm, windproof clothing.
It's billed as an EPIC night of strange goings on and includes a free 1k kids event for families. Entry covers parking, chip timing, a glow-in-the-dark finish medal, and downloadable event photos. Dogs are spectators only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
