About the race
The event on February 15, 2027 takes place at Fountainhead Regional Park in Fairfax Station, VA. It offers three trail distances over forested out-and-back routes with hills and technical footing; elevation gain is shown on the course map.

The 5k is a single out-and-back; the 10k and 10 Miler follow two out-and-back loops. Water stations are provided along each route: one on the 5k, three on the 10k, and seven on the 10 Miler; some stations include Gatorade. The 10 Miler has a completion time limit of 2:30. The event is chip timed. Registered participants receive a finisher’s medal and a technical DriFit event shirt; shirts are guaranteed for registrations before February 3.
Points from these races count toward the organizer’s Year-Long 5k, 10k, Endurance, Back of the Pack, and Winter Series. The Back of the Pack (BOTP) listing is 13:30 and is used for series classification. A virtual race option is available and walkers are welcome.
