You Matter 5k & 15k Bike Ride
The event takes place on September 19 and raises funds for the Pregnancy Resource Clinic. It accepts individual and family registrations; participants may fundraise or pay a registration fee of $35. Children 12 years old and under participate at no cost. Participants who register by 8/31/26 are guaranteed an event t-shirt.
In person, runners and walkers follow a mapped 5k course through a State College walking path and neighborhood. Timing is available for runners who wish to compete, and medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each category, including overall male and female and age groups from 14 and under through 70 and older. Bikers ride a mapped 15k course along State College bike paths; the bike event is not timed. Those unable to walk, run, or bike may bring a rocking chair and rock during the event. Refreshments and family friendly activities will be available throughout the day.
On your own participation is available. Registered participants can complete a 5k walk or run or a 10 mile bike ride on their own, log their route with a mapping app, and optionally send a picture to share their participation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
