Powisset Farm Trail Run - Spring
The Powisset Farm Trail Run - Spring is a farm-based trail race held at Powisset Farm, 37 Powisset Street, Dover, MA 02030. It is part of the Barn to Run Trail Race Series and uses trails at Powisset Farm and the neighboring Noanet Woodlands.
The event offers four race distances:
- 8.3 miles
- 5.6 miles
- 3.1 miles
- 1.5 miles
Course maps are provided for the 5.6, 8.3 and 3.1 mile routes; route views for the loops are available on MapMyRun. There will be one aid station in Noanet Woods supplying water. This is a cupless race so participants must carry their own hydration carrier; a limited number of hydration cups and belts will be available for purchase on site.
Swag distribution is described for registrants: runners in the longer races who register by a stated deadline are guaranteed a soft cotton gender-specific t-shirt, while later registrants and all 1.5 mile participants will receive a Barn to Run lightweight backpack. Awards will be given to the three fastest men and three fastest women in each race. The event includes family-oriented attractions at Powisset Farm such as a barn yard with pigs, chickens and a goat and a small play area; children must be accompanied by an adult.
