Powered to Move All Abilities Superhero Run : Plano, TX
The Powered to Move All Abilities Superhero Run is scheduled for October 10, 2026 at Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve, 2801 E. Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75074. The event features a 5K course plus a Fun Run and additional participation categories listed by the organizer, including hand cycles, wheelchairs, race chairs, pushchairs and a Sleep In donation option.
The event supports Powered to Move’s stated mission of Putting Christ’s Love in Action by providing people with intellectual and physical disabilities opportunities for physical fitness, social interaction and community connection. Proceeds and donations are designated to support the Adapted Fitness, Wingman and Handcycle programs and activities at the Powered to Move Community Center.
Participants who need assistance, including people with intellectual disabilities and young children under age five, must be accompanied by a registered family member or friend. All participants are required to be registered and to display their race bib while on the course. Manual wheelchairs, push chairs, hand cycles, race chairs and strollers are welcomed. Service animals are the only animals permitted on course.
Event T-shirts will be available in unisex adult sizes Extra Small through XXL. Awards are planned across equipment categories and multiple age groups, with both male and female awards specified for each category. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
