Pound The Pavement 5K Color Fun Run/Walk : Bangor, ME
The 14th annual Pound The Pavement is an untimed 5K Color Fun Run/Walk held on October 4, 2026, at 26 Front Street, Bangor, Maine. Participants begin the course dressed in white and are showered with colored powder at each kilometer mark, finishing covered in color. The event includes post-event activities at Sea Dog with music and photo opportunities.
There are multiple registration options and event categories, including student and junior entries. A junior 5K is offered for children ages 8 and under and uses the full 5K course. Cancer survivors may register through a dedicated cancer survivor option and participate free of charge.
Registration incentives include free goodie bags for the first 200 registered, with Visa gift cards placed randomly in some bags, and a free event T-shirt for registrations completed before September 1. Registration fees listed for the main event and categories include $40 for the standard 5K, $30 for the student 5K, and $15 for the junior 5K, while the cancer survivor option is free.
