Event Overview
The Pound The Ground For Ultrasound is a walk and run event organized by the First Look Pregnancy Center. It is the 13th annual edition of this fundraiser. The center offers free ultrasounds to individuals between 7 and 20 weeks of pregnancy.

- 10k Walk / Run
- 5K Walk / Run
- Virtual 5k or 10k
The 5k event is described as stroller-friendly.
Practical Information
The event takes place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Riverfront Park in Sayre, Pennsylvania.
Registration and Pricing: Early bird registration is available until March 31. It costs $25 per person for the 5k or 10k and includes an athletic wicking T-shirt. A family rate for four people from the same household is $60. From April 1 until online registration closes on May 20 at noon, the price is $30 per person (no shirt included) and $80 for a family of four. Day-of-race registration is available at a cost of $35 per person and $85 for a family of four.
Packet Pickup: Packets can be picked up on Friday, May 22, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hopegate Athens Center (116 Walnut Street, Athens). On event day, packet pickup and registration are available from 7:30 AM to 8:40 AM.
Additional Notes: A breakfast is included for all event participants. The event also features a "Church Challenge," where the church with the most registrants wins a hand-carved plaque.
