Event Details
The Pottstown Patriotic 5K is a 5K race held on the Fourth of July. The 2026 event is the 39th installment.
Course
The race starts at the corner of Beech and Grant Streets, near the basketball court at the high end of the Ricketts Center. Participants run down Keim Street to High Street and through the streets of Pottstown, finishing back at the Ricketts Center.
Registration and Fees
The registration fee increases over time. The price is $27.50 until January 31, then $30 until April 30, $32.50 until July 1, and $35 after July 1 and on race day.
Amenities and Awards
A quality race-themed T-shirt in unisex sizes is guaranteed for registrations before June 20 at midnight, and is available afterwards while supplies last. Awards are given to the first male and female overall finishers. Awards are also given to the top two male and female finishers in various age groups, from 14 & Under up to 80 and Over.
Community and Charity
A portion of the registration fees and all donations benefit the Pottstown Parks and Recreation Department. The event coincides with Pottstown's Fourth of July Parade, which follows on the same streets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
