Portland Pride Run
Portland Pride Run is a community run, walk, and roll event held on the Eastbank Esplanade in Portland, Oregon. The event is hosted by Portland Frontrunners and is open to the public. It features music, snacks, and beverages at the finish area and includes special guests who participate in pre- and post-event activities.
Registered participants receive a Portland Pride Run drawstring swag bag and one entry in a raffle with prizes from local sponsors, including a pair of ON shoes, a Foot Traffic gift bag, and four wristband tickets to Oaks Park. A portion of event proceeds supports Camp KC, which provides a summer camp experience for children ages 5 to 15 affected by HIV/AIDS. Net proceeds also help fund Portland Frontrunners mission to promote health and social interaction in a supportive LGBTQIA community.
Route options follow the waterfront and cross several bridges. Distances offered:
- 4.25 miles: route to the Tilikum Bridge, west side to the Steel Bridge, and back across
- 2.5 miles: short loop crossing the Tilikum Bridge and returning via the Hawthorne Bridge
