Portland Pride Run
Portland Pride Run is a waterfront run, walk, and roll hosted by Portland Frontrunners. The event takes place on the Eastbank Esplanade and is open to the public. Light snacks, beverages, and music are provided at the finish area.
The event offers two route options that travel across the Tilikum Bridge and follow the west side waterfront. Route details provided by the organizer describe crossings of the Hawthorne Bridge and the Steel Bridge depending on the route chosen.
Distances:
- 4.25 miles: to the Tilikum Bridge, back via west waterfront to the Steel Bridge
- 2.5 miles: short loop across the Tilikum Bridge and along the west waterfront to Hawthorne Bridge
Proceeds help fund Portland Frontrunners' mission to promote good health and provide opportunities for social interaction through running, walking, and club events within a supportive LGBTQIA community in Portland, Oregon. A portion of the proceeds will support Camp KC, which offers a summer camp experience for children ages 5 to 15 who are living with and/or affected by HIV/AIDS.
