Portland Parks 5K - Pier Park
The Pier Park event is part of Portland Parks & Recreation’s annual 5K Fun Run Series, which holds family friendly 5K races monthly from May through August at parks across Portland. The Pier Park edition is scheduled for July 12 as one stop in the series.
Registration requires a $5 fee for participants aged 18 and older; participants younger than 18 run for free. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and walk-up registration is accepted on race day for cash only. On race day participants can check in and pick up bibs, use a sports clock for timing, and every finisher receives a ribbon.
There is a separate kids Fun Run for children 8 years old and younger with shorter distances. The event includes music, kids activities, raffle prizes, and vendors.
