Portland Parks 5K Fun Run at Pier Park
The Pier Park event is one stop in Portland Parks & Recreation's annual 5K Fun Run Series, a family friendly set of 5K races held monthly from May through August at parks around Portland. The Pier Park run is scheduled for July 12 as part of the 2026 series. Registration for participants aged 18 and older has a $5 fee; participants younger than 18 run for free. Organizers encourage pre registration but also accept walk up registrations on the day of the race for cash only.
On race day participants can use a sports clock to time themselves and every finisher receives a ribbon. The program includes a competitive 5K, an all participant 5K fun run and a kids fun run for children eight years old and younger.
