Portland Parks 5K - Gabriel Park
Part of Portland Parks & Recreation's annual 5K Fun Run Series, this event takes place at Gabriel Park on August 16 as one of four monthly runs held from May through August. The park location is at the SW 45th Avenue and Vermont Street entrance in Portland, OR 97219.
Registration requires a $5 fee for participants aged 18 and older; participants younger than 18 years old run for free. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, and walk-up registrations are accepted on the day of the run for cash only.
Race day includes check-in and bib pick-up, a competitive 5K, a kids Fun Run of 1K or 2K for children 8 years old and younger, and an all-participant 5K Fun Run. Participants may time themselves using the event sports clock, and every finisher receives a ribbon. The event also features music, kids activities, raffle prizes, and vendors.
