Portland Parks 5K - Gabriel Park
The Gabriel Park event is one stop in Portland Parks & Recreation's annual 5K Fun Run Series, a family-friendly set of 5K races held monthly from May through August at parks across Portland. The series includes both a competitive 5K race and community Fun Run options, plus a kids run for younger children.
Participants aged 18 and older pay a $5 registration fee; participants younger than 18 run for free. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, and walk-up registration is accepted on the day of the run on a cash-only basis. Timing is available via a sports clock, and every finisher receives a ribbon.
On-site offerings for the series include music, kids activities, raffle prizes, and vendors. The series celebrates participation across ages and supports both new walkers and runners as well as experienced racers. The Gabriel Park date is one of four monthly events in the series, which takes place at different park locations around the city.
