Port Sunlight 5K & 10K
Port Sunlight 5K & 10K is a set of road races held within the village road network. The event offers multiple distance options and a separate kids fun run.
- 5K open to entrants aged 11 and over.
- 10K open to entrants aged 15 and over.
- Dual 5K and 10K open to entrants aged 16 and over.
- 1K Kid's Fun Run for younger participants.
The full race course comprises two 5K laps contained entirely within the village roads. The route is described as flat with very good road quality. The start and finish area is on the green at Windy Bank in the centre of the village.
Rail access is available via Bebington or Port Sunlight stations, both a short walk from the start and finish area. By car, directions reference the Queensway Tunnel exit and the New Ferry by-pass with access via Bolton Road; specific car parking arrangements are provided in the event race instructions.
