About the race
The Liverpool Santa Dash on 06.12.2026 is a festive running event in Liverpool where participants wear Santa suits and follow city centre routes. The event has two separate participations: a main 5K fun run and a 1K Mini Dash for children.
The event details include:
- 5K main fun run starting near the Tate, down Salthouse Quay, past the Albert Dock, round to Leeds Street and finishing near Liverpool Town Hall.
- 1K Mini Dash for children up to 12, running down Lord Street and Stanley Street to the same finish as the 5K; this is a separate event that starts on Castle Street.
Santa suits are provided for everyone over 3 years old; adult suits are one size fits all and child sizes are available. There is a discounted entry for children aged 3 to 8, and children under 3 may enter free but must be registered and collect a race number to receive a medal. Blue adult suits for this year are sold out.
For 5K participants the entry includes a goody bag, a Santa suit and a finisher's medal. For 1K participants the entry includes a children's goody bag, a Santa suit for over 3s, and a child's finisher's medal; accompanying adults can attend free if registered.
Race numbers and suits are collected from the Santa Shop in late November 2026 at Unit 19, The Metquarter, 35 Whitechapel, Liverpool L1 6DA. Collection requires the QR code from the registration email; someone else may collect on a participant's behalf with that QR code. There are no collections on the day.
Little Lights (formerly Zoe's Place) is the headline partner charity. Recycling bins and on-course waste stations are provided and participants are asked to use them. Bone conducting headphones are allowed if volume is low so marshals and others can be heard. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
