Summer Running in Boise
The Popsicle 5K/10K/Half Marathon takes place in Boise at Veterans Memorial Park. This summer event provides participants with several distance options to accommodate different preferences for road racing. Participants can choose between in-person attendance or virtual formats for all available distances.

The event features a reward system for finishers that includes an ice-cold popsicle and a custom popsicle-themed finisher medal upon completion of the course. Participants have the choice to register for entries that include an event shirt or discounted "no shirt" options for each distance.
Awards are issued for the 5 km, 10 km, and Half Marathon distances. The top three male and female finishers in various age categories receive recognition. Age groups are organized in five-year increments, starting with the 10 and under category. Virtual participants have the flexibility to complete their chosen distance at a time and location of their choice, with event shirts provided via mail.
