Popsicle 5K/10K/Half - Boise
The Popsicle event in Boise is a summer running event held on August 23, 2026, at Veterans Memorial Park. Races take place on an out-and-back course along the Boise River Trail with start and finish at the park. Net chip time will be used to record start and finish results.

Every finisher receives a cold popsicle at the finish and a custom Popsicle-themed finisher medal. Awards are given in each distance to the top three male and top three female finishers in standard five-year age groups, beginning with 10 & Under. The half marathon requires participants to maintain at least a 16 minute per mile pace.
Self-serve water stations will be available approximately every 1.5 miles; participants who prefer not to stop are advised to carry their own hydration. Registration includes options for in-person and virtual participation. Participants registered by August 13 are guaranteed race swag in their selected size; afterwards swag is available while supplies last. Virtual participants can complete their distance anywhere, submit results online, and view results after the event date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
