Poppy's Run For Life
Poppy's Run For Life is scheduled for Sunday, April 4, 2027, in Houston, Texas. The street address is to be announced. This edition is the fifth annual event.
The event honors people who have died by suicide and those who are affected by suicide. All proceeds will be donated to suicide prevention and awareness programs and services at Alexander JFS and the Montrose Center, and to one other nonprofit organization to be determined. The event is recognized as a 501(c)(3) charity.
The running program includes multiple distance options and accommodations for athletes with disabilities. Guide volunteers are given a free registration code of "Guide" for events that note this provision, and participants in those categories may select a no shirt option.
