The Popcorn Run Saskatoon
The Popcorn Run Saskatoon is a run and walk event at Rotary Park, Saskatchewan Crescent East, in Saskatoon scheduled for July 2026. Routes are on trails and grass along the Meewasin Trail heading east.
The event offers multiple distances with different participant kits:
- 2 km : bag of popcorn, cup of lemonade, finisher medal.
- 5 km : finisher medal, large bag of kettle corn, large cup of lemonade.
- 10 km : finisher medal, two large bags of kettle corn, large cup of lemonade.
Course and logistics details: there are two water stations located at the 5 km and 10 km turnaround points. On-site parking is free and restrooms are available; there is no bag check. Strollers are permitted. For the 2 km, participants aged six and under must be accompanied by an adult either running or watching. The course runs through a public park, so participants should expect to share pathways with walkers, cyclists, and other runners and may encounter animals.
