The Popcorn Run Saskatoon
The Popcorn Run Saskatoon is a recreational run held at Rotary Park on Saskatchewan Crescent East in Saskatoon. The event offers three distances: a 2 km (Little Kernel), a 5 km (Poppen), and a 10 km (Hot Poppin).
The course is entirely on trails or grass, heading east on the Meewasin Trail. Two water stations are provided, located at the 5 km and 10 km turnaround points. Strollers are permitted on the course.
Each distance includes a finisher medal and refreshments. The 2 km includes a bag of popcorn and a cup of lemonade. The 5 km includes a large bag of kettle corn and a large cup of fresh lemonade. The 10 km includes two large bags of kettle corn and a large cup of fresh lemonade.
The event is run in partnership with the Saskatoon SPCA. Pets are permitted on-site. Parking is free and bathrooms are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
