Pompton Lakes 5K Run
The Pompton Lakes 5K Run/Walk is presented by the Pompton Lakes Recreation Department in support of Pompton Lakes Day and is in its 42nd year. The event takes place at Hershfield Park on Ramapo Ave. in Pompton Lakes, NJ.
The course is a hybrid layout that traverses fields, roads, trails and a pipeline path, combining elements of cross country, trail and road running. The course will be marked and course marshals will be placed at key locations. A single water stop is located at the course center. A course map will be posted on race day.
Distance: 3.1 Miles
Registration opens on 04/12/2026 at 12:00 and closes on 09/05/2026 at 11:00. The registration fee is $25.00. Same day registration is available at Hershfield Park and runs from 7:45 am to 8:45 am.
