About the race
2027 Point of Rocks 5k, 10k and Half Marathon takes place on March 7, 2027 at Point of Rocks, 3700 Commerce St, Point of Rocks, MD 21777, United States. Points from these events count toward the year long 5k, 10k, Endurance and Back of the Pack Series and also count toward the Winter Series.

The course is an out and back on a light gravel dirt path that is basically flat for the entire route. Water stations are limited; there are six stations on the half marathon course, three on the 10k and two on the 5k at approximate mile markers. Gatorade is available at some stations and water station plans are subject to change, so participants are advised to carry their own water.
The event offers a finisher medal, a technical Dri fit event shirt, and chip timing. A virtual race option is available. Walkers are welcome.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second place male and female in standard age categories from 19 and under through 70 and over; overall top three finishers are not eligible for age group awards.
Packet pickup is available at the venue. There is no race day registration due to park service rules. Live results are posted online with a QR code available at the event.
