Pocono Mountains Marathon Race Festival
The event takes place in October 2027 at Promised Land State Park, Upper Lake Overflow Parking Lot, Greentown, PA. It offers multiple race distances on a course that is 100% on paved asphalt roads.
Available distances:
- Marathon 26.2 miles
- Half marathon 13.1 miles
- 10K 6.2 miles
- 5K 3.1 miles
- Combo 15K (5K and 10K)
The full marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifying race with certification number PA21011NP. The organizer notes certification for the course. The event includes awards by overall and age group categories and offers a non binary registration option with its own awards categories.
An early start option is available only for the half and full marathon; there are no early starts for the 5K and 10K. There are no awards for early starts. Early starters are expected to run at about a 15 minute per mile pace or slower, and half marathon finishers faster than 2:15 may not receive an official time.
Entry fees include event SWAG such as a T shirt, finisher medal, and ankle running socks. Shirt sizes and other items may not always be available on race day and race staff will work to resolve missing items. Service members and their family receive a 10 percent entry discount.
