The Scranton Half Marathon will be held April 11-12, 2026, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The 13th edition begins and ends at PenFed Credit Union Field at Memorial Stadium. The event aims to highlight the local area and provide increased exposure and revenue for local businesses. The weekend includes in-person and virtual options, a run/walk category for the half marathon, and a separate walk-only half marathon that is fully chip timed.

Additional facts: the 5k has a 50 minute cutoff (about a 16 minute per mile pace) and times will not be recorded for participants over that limit. The half marathon walk receives a medal and finisher gift, has awards for overall male and female, and aid stations for walkers begin at mile 7.5. Virtual participants receive bib, shirt, medal, and finisher gift, and virtual registration closes April 5, 2026. Expo and bib/shirt pickup take place at a race expo and on race day at Scranton Memorial Stadium.
