The Office 5K - Scranton, PA
The Office 5K is a community road event held in Scranton, Pennsylvania on May 2, 2026. The event includes a 5-kilometer run and a modified 1-mile walk that pass locations featured in NBC's "The Office." Participants may wear costumes based on characters from the show; a set of costume awards is presented.

The start area is located at 523 Linden Street in downtown Scranton. Pre-registered participants may pick up race bibs, shirts, and race information at Cooper's Seafood House, 701 N. Washington Avenue, on May 1 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Day-of registration and packet pick-up are available on May 2 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
A block party and an awards ceremony are held immediately following the event. Awards include about a dozen costume categories such as Best Group Costume, Most Obscure Office Reference Award, and Best In Show. Competitive awards are given to top male and female finishers, top masters finishers, and the top three finishers in each age group: 0-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
Race proceeds benefit Valley In Motion, a nonprofit organization working to strengthen community across the Lackawanna Valley. Participants who register by April 19 are guaranteed a shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
