The Office 5K - Scranton, PA
The Office 5K is a road event in Scranton that follows streets and sites featured on NBC's "The Office." The event includes a race and a shorter walking option; participants may wear costumes, and costume prizes are awarded.

The event starts at 523 Linden Street in front of Backyard Ale House. Packet pick-up for pre-registered participants is at Cooper's Seafood House, 701 N. Washington Avenue, on May 1 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM; bibs, shirts, and race information are also available on the day of the event during day-of registration and packet pick-up from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Participants who register by April 19 are guaranteed a shirt. Registration opens July 1, 2025 and closes April 29, 2026. Fee information lists $30 for pre-registered participants and $40 for day-of registrants.
A block party and awards ceremony follow the event. Awards include about a dozen costume prizes such as Best Group Costume, Most Obscure Office Reference Award, and Best In Show, plus top male and female finishers, top masters, and top three finishers in the age groups 0-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
