Event
The Office 5K is a road event in Scranton, Pennsylvania themed around locations featured on NBC's "The Office." The event on May 2, 2026, includes the following distances:

- 1 Mile Walk
Participants may dress in costume; there are about a dozen costume awards such as Best Group Costume, Most Obscure Office Reference Award, and Best In Show. Walkers follow a modified 1 mile course with special activities along the route. A block party and awards ceremony will be held immediately following the event.
Logistics and benefits
The event takes place at 523 Linden Street, Scranton, PA 18503, with the start area in front of Backyard Ale House. Packet pick-up for pre-registered participants is scheduled for May 1 at Cooper's Seafood House, 701 N. Washington Avenue; bibs, shirts, and race information are also available on race day. Registration closes April 29, 2026; participants who register by April 19 are guaranteed a shirt. Pre-registration cost is listed as $30 and day-of registration as $40. Race proceeds benefit Valley In Motion, a non-profit working in the Lackawanna Valley. Awards are given to top male and female finishers, top masters, and top three in age groups 0-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
