Pleasants Landing Triathlon
Pleasants Landing Triathlon takes place at Pleasants Landing Marina on Lake Anna in Bumpass, Virginia on October 10, 2026. The event offers multiple multisport formats including Olympic and Sprint triathlons, aquabike races, and team relays with two to three members.
Distances for the main formats include:
- Olympic: 1.5K swim; 24 mile bike; 10K run.

The open water swim is a time trial in the southeast portion of Lake Anna, located about a quarter mile from where the lake’s warmer "hot side" empties into the colder side. That location typically produces water temperatures about 4 to 6 degrees warmer than the rest of the lake in mid October.
