Playtri Fort Worth Triathlon & Run-Bike-Run II
The event takes place on October 4, 2026 at Marine Creek Public Boat Ramp, 2700 NW Loop 820, Fort Worth, Texas. Multiple race formats are offered on the same day, including in-person and virtual options.
Distances:
- Sprint Triathlon: 0.3 mile swim, 12.5 mile bike, 5K run.
- Olympic Triathlon: 1500 meter swim, 25 mile bike, 10K run.
- Duathlon Run Bike Run: 1 mile run, 12.5 mile bike, 5K run.
- Virtual Triathlon and Duathlon available with flexible completion during the week before the race.
Relay teams are permitted for sprint, Olympic, and duathlon formats. Relay teams consist of two or three members. All relay members must check in individually at packet pickup and each must hold a USAT membership, either annual or one day. Each relay team shares one race number and one timing chip. Timing chip exchanges occur at the bike racked in the transition area; the first swimmer or runner gives the chip to the cyclist, and the cyclist gives the chip to the final runner. A bicycle must be placed on the bike rack during chip exchanges. Fees listed by the organizer are per person and team registration is managed by a team captain.
The event is USAT sanctioned and organized under a USAT certified race director. For the virtual option, participant t shirt and finisher medal are mailed after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
