The Playtri Fort Worth Triathlon & Run-Bike-Run II. takes place at the Marine Creek Public Boat Ramp in Fort Worth, Texas. This multi-sport event is USAT sanctioned and managed by a USAT certified race director. Participants can choose between various multisport formats including triathlons, duathlons, and relay options.
The event offers several individual and team categories:
- Olympic Triathlon: 1500 meter swim, 25 mile bike, and 10 km run.
- Sprint Triathlon: 0.3 mile swim, 12.5 mile bike, and 5 km run.
- Duathlon (Run-Bike-Run): 1 mile run, 12.5 mile bike, and 5 km run.
- Relay Teams: Available for Sprint Triathlon, Olympic Triathlon, and Duathlon categories.
- SMW Collegiate Series: Specific Sprint and Olympic distances for collegiate athletes.
- Virtual Options: Remote participation available for both triathlon and duathlon.
Participants receive an event hoodie and a finisher medal. Athletes who complete both the May and October Playtri Fort Worth events are eligible for a special Double Finisher Medal. VIP parking is available within walking distance of the venue, though the number of spots is limited. As a USAT sanctioned event, a one-day license or annual membership is required for all participants.
