Platte River Half Marathon & Relay
The Platte River Half Marathon & Relay is an annual running event held in Littleton, Colorado, just outside the Denver metro area. The event is designated as the RRCA Colorado State Half Marathon Championship and donates a portion of proceeds to Salute Colorado.
The course follows the Platte River Trail and is an out and back that begins and ends at the Reynold's Landing trailhead parking lot near Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton. The route passes through Littleton, Englewood, Sheridan, and Denver and has a total ascent of about 300 feet.
Event options include multiple race distances:
- 13.1 miles half marathon
- Three person relay
- 5k new for 2026
All finishers receive event items such as a long sleeve tech T, a finisher's medal, a souvenir finisher's cup, and an e goodie bag. The finish area and post race gathering are held at Breckenridge Brewery and feature live music, food trucks, and Colorado craft beer as part of the post race party.
