Platte River Half-Marathon & Relay
The Platte River Half-Marathon & Relay is an annual running event held in Littleton, Colorado, just outside the Denver metro area. The event includes a half-marathon, a relay race, and a 5k and has been held for more than 21 years. It is designated as the RRCA Colorado State Half Marathon Championship and donates a portion of proceeds to Salute Colorado. The 2027 edition is scheduled for Sunday, April 11, 2027.
The course is an out and back route along the Platte River Trail. The race begins and ends at the Reynold's Landing trailhead parking lot near Breckenridge Brewery and passes through Littleton, Englewood, Sheridan, and parts of Denver. Total ascent on the course is about 300 feet. The route runs riverside with cityscape views in places.

- 13.1 miles Half Marathon
- Relay for three-person teams; each member receives a finisher’s medal
- 5k new for 2026, run on the same riverside course
All finishers receive event swag such as a long-sleeve tech T, a finisher’s medal, a souvenir finisher’s cup, and an e-goodie bag. The post-race celebration at Breckenridge Brewery features live music, food trucks, Colorado craft beer, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
