Platte River Half-Marathon & Relay

The Platte River Half-Marathon & Relay is an annual road race held in Littleton just outside Denver. The course is an out-and-back along the Platte River Trail, beginning and ending at the Reynold's Landing trailhead parking lot near Breckenridge Brewery. The route passes through Littleton, Englewood, Sheridan, and Denver and has a total ascent of about 300 feet.

The event offers three race options and includes a post race party at Breckenridge Brewery with live music, food trucks, and Colorado craft beer. The post race area is described as family friendly. Finishers receive event items such as a long-sleeve tech T, a finisher's medal, a souvenir finisher's cup, and an e-goodie bag. Relay teams are organized for three person teams and each team member receives a finisher's medal.

The race has been held for more than 21 years and in the current year is designated as the RRCA Colorado State Half Marathon Championship. The 2027 edition is scheduled for Sunday, April 11, 2027.
