Dog Days Relay 3x3K - Plano
The Plano Pacers Dog Days Relay is scheduled for August 29, 2026 at Windhaven Meadows Park in Plano, Texas. The event features a team relay format and a separate Kid's K race for children.
Distances
- 3x3K relay for three-person teams
- Kid's K for children, free and open to all
Team relay registration is managed online and teams are encouraged to submit entry data in advance. Registration information lists a fee of $15 and indicates member discounts may apply; teams may include a mix of members and guest runners.
This event will not use timing chips; relay batons are used for team exchanges. Team captains pick up the team baton and declare the running order on race day. The Kid's K is free and does not require advance registration.
Divisions for the relay include Female, Male, Coed (two females and one male or one female and two males), and Family. Age-group brackets are based on the combined age of all three team members. Male/Female/Coed combined-age divisions are Under 80, 81 to 119, 120 to 149, 150 to 179, and 180 and above. Family combined-age divisions are Under 77, 78 to 98, 99 to 140, 141 to 179, and 180 and above. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
