Event overview
The Planet NY race takes place on September 19, 2026, at Flushing Meadow Corona Park, Meadowlark Circle, Forest Hills, NY 11375. The event offers multiple race options:

Course, timing, and on-course support
The course uses a loop format around Flushing Meadow Corona Park. The half marathon is four laps of a 3.27 mile loop. The 10K uses a route with a short cut to create 3.1 mile loops, completed twice. The 5K runs the same loop once. Each loop is chip timed in real time and includes digital mapping and live streaming. Video and images are uploaded within two hours from the end of the race. Course support includes water stations with gels, water, and Gatorade, plus porta potties and public restrooms along the course.
Awards, amenities, and giving
Registered participants receive a technical T-shirt with full color logo and a die cast finisher medal. Plaque awards are given to the top three overall finishers and age-group awards are presented in five-year age groups with top three male and female finishers from 14-19 through 65 and older. Post-race snacks include fresh baked bagels and spreads with organic peanut butter and butter. The event supports the nonprofit B-Local NYC through optional donations.
