Plainfield Twisters 5k Fundraiser and Charity Run
The Plainfield Twisters 5k Fundraiser and Charity run takes place in Plainfield, Illinois. This event serves as an opening weekend celebration for the organization and supports two specific causes through its proceeds.
One half of the funds raised will support the 12u Twister team during their spring season. The remaining half is donated to the Plainfield Athletic Clubs Angels division, which provides a baseball program designed for children with special needs between the ages of 5 and 18.
Participants can engage in several activities throughout the morning. The event features basket raffles and a 50/50 raffle. Following the run, the organization hosts a softball round robin tournament where the team competes against three other squads. Attendees will find food and prizes available during these games.
