Plainfield Harvest Run 5k/10k & Kids Miler
The Plainfield Harvest Run is scheduled for September 27, 2026, at Village Green Park in Plainfield, Illinois. The event is presented by the Plainfield Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce and is described as the 28th annual running of the Harvest Run. In past years the event has drawn roughly 800 to 900 participants annually.

- 5K Run/Walk
- 10K Run
Vendors and sponsors are set up throughout the park before the races. Packet pick up is available at DNA Active Lifestyle Outfitters on Lockport Street and at race registration on race day. The start and finish area is located at the corner of Fox River and Ottawa Streets. Parking options listed include street parking east and north of Village Green Park, Plainfield Central High School, and the Plainfield Area Public Library.
Proceeds from the race are donated to non-profits and organizations in Plainfield and surrounding communities; the chamber reports more than $400,000 donated historically. A Give Back Luncheon is held each November to distribute donations. A post race gathering takes place downtown at Sovereign on Lockport Street, where participants are offered a beverage and a food item while supplies last.
