Pirate's Beer Run 0.5K : Colchester, CT
This event is a short fun run and fundraiser held on July 11, 2026 at Hop Culture Farms & Brew Co in Colchester, Connecticut. The on-course distance is 0.5K (about 1/3 mile, 546 yards, 1,640 feet). Proceeds support the Relay For Life of Southeastern CT and the American Cancer Society.
There are on-site and virtual participation options. On-site registration is limited to 150 participants due to parking. A virtual entry with shipped swag is available for those who cannot attend in person. Registration opens April 21, 2026 and closes June 15, 2026; on-site and virtual fees are listed by the organizer.
The course runs on a dirt road and can be rocky in some areas; the event is not timed and walk or jog participation is recommended. After the run participants receive a pour of beer from Hop Culture, a donut from the event donut tent, a limited edition 2026 t-shirt, a 2026 pint glass, and a 0.5K sticker. Virtual participants receive selected swag by mail; some items such as pint glasses, beer, and donuts are not shipped.
A Youth Package add-on is offered for an additional fee and includes a youth t-shirt, a 0.5K sticker, and a donut. Additional optional items include dog bandanas, spent grain dog treats, extra pint glasses, and extra stickers.
