Pioneer Dam Run - Brownsville, OR
Pioneer Dam Run is a community running event on June 21, 2026, hosted at the Linn County Historical Museum and Park Street in Brownsville, Oregon. The event offers two measured distances:
- 10K: Out-and-back to the historic Brownsville Dam along the Calapooia River.
- 5K: Turnaround route of approximately 1.5 miles along the same course.
Both races start next to the Linn County Historical Museum and follow Kirk Avenue and Northern Drive through the Calapooia River Valley on a flat, fast course. The 5K turnaround is about 1.5 miles from the start; the 10K continues to the Brownsville Dam and returns along the same route.
Packet pickup is available on race day next to the Pioneer Picture Gallery. Restroom facilities are located near the museum and at the downtown parking lot.
Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers in each distance and to the top three finishers in each age group. Age divisions include 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
Proceeds will be donated to support the CLHS track program with equipment and uniforms. Registration is available March 9 through June 20, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
