Pioneer Dam Run
The Pioneer Dam Run takes place in Brownsville, Oregon on June 21, 2026, with the Linn County Historical Museum and Park Street serving as the event location. Proceeds are donated to support CLHS track equipment and uniforms.
Two road race distances are offered:
- 5K
- 10K
Both courses start next to the Linn County Historical Museum and follow Kirk Avenue and Northern Drive along the Calapooia River Valley on a flat course. The 5K turnaround is at approximately 1.5 miles. The 10K continues to the historic Brownsville Dam on the Calapooia River and returns along the same route.
Packet pickup is available on race day next to the Pioneer Picture Gallery. Portable toilets are located near the Museum/Memorial Park and at the downtown parking lot.
Awards are presented in both the 5K and 10K events to the top overall male and female finishers, and to the top three finishers in each age group. Age groups are 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
