Mac Forest Trail Runs - March 14, 2026
The Mac Forest Trail Runs returns for its 29th running on March 14, 2026 at Peavy Arboretum in Oregon State University’s McDonald Forest near Corvallis, Oregon. The event includes two trail distances and uses single-track trails and logging roads through forested terrain.

The 15K course includes about 1450 ft of elevation gain. The route can offer scenic views of the Cascades, the Coast Range, and Soap Creek Valley on clear days. Given the time of year, wet and muddy conditions are likely and the course may be altered on race day due to weather.
Two aid stations are located along the course, including a station near the Cap House. The event will be cupless to reduce waste. Dogs and strollers are not permitted on the course.
Registration opens November 26, 2025. Adult entry fees are $40 for the 15K and $30 for the 5K; youth 18 and under receive a reduced fee (about 50 percent off). Registration fees increase after January 15. Day-of registration is available with limits and accepts cash or check; bib pickup begins the morning of the race. Race shirts must be ordered by February 1 to guarantee race-day delivery and a limited number will be available for purchase.
