The Pink Walk : 10th Annual 5K Run, Walk and Virtual Event
The Pink Walk is the 10th annual community 5K event that benefits The Women's Breast & Heart Initiative, an organization that provides resources for early detection, health education, care coordination and patient navigation for at-risk women, college students and low-income populations. The event includes in-person run and walk options plus a virtual 5K option that can be completed outdoors.
The in-person location is Miami Dade College - KENDALL CAMPUS, 11011 SW 104th Street, Miami, FL 33176. Packet pick-up is available the day before the event at iRun Miami, 5050 Biscayne Blvd, Suite 103, Miami, FL 33137, and on-site packet pick-up is provided on the event day. Virtual participants can collect event shirts and medals after the event at a Miami Lakes office or arrange shipping for an additional fee.
Registration opens 2026-03-30 and closes 2026-05-29. The stated registration fee is $30. Participants are encouraged to create fundraising pages to support the initiative; fundraising thresholds of $50 and $100 and higher are noted for awarding event swag. The overall 2026 fundraising goal for the initiative is $100,000. The event also encourages participants to recruit additional participants by challenging three other people to join.
