Pink & Teal Challenge
The Pink & Teal Challenge is a weekend of in-person and virtual running and walking events held May 7–9, 2027, at Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY. The program includes a women-only competitive 5K with chipped timing and small token prizes, a Family FUN 5K that is non-competitive (chipped bibs provided but no age-group prizes), a walk with a full 5K option or a 2 mile shortcut, and virtual 5K run and walk options available over the event weekend.
Children aged 7 and under are free and do not need to register. There will be no event-day registration for in-person events. Participants who register between May 5 and May 7 must wait 24 hours after registering to receive their chipped bib.
The women's 5K lists age groups eligible for "Bragging Rights": 5–15, 16–25, 26–35, 36–45, 46–55, 56–65, and 65+. Overall winners are placed in their age group and age groups may change based on registration numbers.
Additional on-site elements include a costume contest with prizes for best individual and best team costume. The event describes its purpose as supporting people and families affected by breast or gynecologic cancer. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
