12th Annual Pink Pirate's 5K for Breast Cancer
The event is a community 5K run and walk held on October 17, 2026 at the Navarre Beach Boat Parking lot on Gulf Blvd in Navarre, Florida. It is the 12th annual edition and includes an in person running 5K, an in person walking 5K, and a running/walking virtual 5K option.
Course logistics note that the route travels west for approximately 1.5 miles and returns to the start line, creating an out-and-back course. The first 200 registered participants are guaranteed event T-shirts. Organizers encourage participants to wear pink.
The event raises funds for mammograms; since 2013 the effort has helped raise over $180,000 to provide life-saving mammograms. All profits are stated to go toward funding mammograms to support early detection and screening for people who cannot afford them.
Registration categories and listed fees include early registration at $20, standard registration at $25, and day-of registration at $30 for the in person running and walking options; the virtual running/walking 5K is listed at $30.
